Happy Elementary Students Create Museum Exhibits

Aimee McCarley’s project describes her Meemaw, Villa Montene Easley Stevens. Aimee, a 5th grader, learned about life during the Great Depression through reading her Meemaw’s journals and researching the topic. Aimee is proud of her Meemaw, one of the Rosie Riveters of World War II.

Happy Elementary Students Create Museum Exhibits October 15, 2014 Twenty students at Happy Elementary School are participating in an enrichment project in cooperation with Swisher County Museum.  The students were challenged to create a museum exhibit addressing the topic, “History Happens to Me”.  The students created a museum display with a research binder and artifacts.  The presented their projects . . . read more
