Question 1: What did you learn from the Missing project, and what do you think we could do to make it better?

Response 1: I learned not to talk to people I don’t know.  I thought that it was very good and well talked about.  Although it could have been a little more hands on.

Response 2: I think this was really cool.  I never got bored.  This Missing game really opened my eyes.  I have to admit I’m way more hesitant when I’m on the Internet.  I think the only flaw was letting us pick our own groups.  As weird as this sounds, I think I’d do better when I’m not with my friends.  I also think it would be better if you do it backwards next time.

Response 3: I think the Missing game was pretty fun!  It really makes you stop and think about all the stuff you’ve already done on the Internet, and helps you know what to do different next time.  It helps you know what to look for.  It would help if next time you show the last part first.

Response 4: I think that the Missing game was the best game I ever played, it showed me that I have to be careful about what I say and what information I give to somebody that I maybe don’t know.  That game showed me that not all of the Internet ifs fun and beautiful, and that it is not just ‘peaches and cream’, but that it has its dark side too!

Question 2: What experiences have you had while on the Internet?

Response 1: Some very bad pop-ups of pornography.  I closed out and left it at that.  That’s all.

Response 2: I have experiences where it was really gross that I don’t wanna say…Oh well, this is for a good cause, so I’ll tell you.  I was just playing on Candy Stand in the 6th grade, and a pop-up came up.  It was a picture of a naked guy!  It said click here to see more.  I hurried up and exited off and shut down my computer.  I shut m y computer down because I was afraid of a virus.

Response 3: Most of the time the Internet isn’t tat bad or anything when I’m on, but sometimes some guy will start sexually harassing me and stuff, so I blocked him.  I’ve also had pretty gross pop-ups, but we got a spam blocker.  Most of the time I just chat with one o my friends from school.

Response 4: I had an experience with the Internet last year.  I was in my cousin’s house, and we were on a chat room talking to a guy.  His nickname was Alien (at least that was what he said he was), and he said he wanted to meet us.  Then my cousin said no and so did I.  The one week passed and I found out in the newspaper that this hut was trying to get some girls out of the Internet.  Of course this was the same guy we were talking to, so we never went in the Internet again.
