Classroom Rules

1. Be responsible

2. Be respectful

3. Any other rule the teacher deems necessary

The first rule covers being prepared for class, work completed, ready to learn, etc…

The second rule covers being respectful of yourself, others, teachers, school property, etc…

Consequences (some that may be used)

Assigned Seating Lunch Detention

Discipline Referral sent home Call to Parents

Others at the teacher’s discretion

Grading Policy all grades have the same % but some items will count more than once

Homework will count once

Tests will count three times

Six Weeks Test will count twice

Quizzes will count once

Projects will count twice

Extra Credit U.I.L. participation & other projects the teacher may assign

Expectations – ALL homework is due the day following the assignment and ready to turn in the moment you walk in the door. If homework is not completed, you MUST turn in a paper with your name on it and a reason why your homework is not completed. Late papers will be accepted on the second day only with a maximum grade of 70.

Classroom passes

Each student will receive two passes per 6 weeks (may be used for things like restroom break, retrieving forgotten books or papers in locker)

Unused passes will not carry over to the next 6 weeks and cannot be given to another student.
